2023 Eleni & Edouard Vocoret Chablis 1er Cru 'Les Butteaux', Burgundy, France Casa Setaro Maceration lasts for about 45From a 0. 32 hectare parcel of old vine Chardonnay planted on classic Kimmeridgian limestone in Butteaux, this 1er Cru bottling is hand harvested, whole cluster pressed, and fermented with native yeasts. The wine is vinified in stainless steel before aging for 12 months in older barrels, then returned to tank prior to bottling. Unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur.
