This batch of cultivated Mexicanito (A. Rhodacantha) comes from San Jose Rio Minas, located in the Mixteca Alta region of Oaxaca. This mezcal was distilled in a hybrid clay pot and stainless steel still that is typical in the region. The label image pays homage to the donkey that carried
