Early Wall-Mount General Store Folk Art Bag Sorting Rack carnival 24"W x 15"HA rare surviving example of a late 19th century general store bag sorter, built to keep paper sacks organized by size and ready for fast service at the counter. These curved, fan form racks were typically wall mounted behind the merchant, allowing clerks to grab the right bag in a single motion an everyday fixture in dry goods, apothecary, and hardware stores before prefabricated dispensers replaced them. Hand crafted in pine with a boldly arched
