Conterno Fantino, Langhe, Monpra 2000 CJF Selections I decanted this for 292 CellarTracker Terrific, lively, complex Piedmont nose full of mature red fruit, earth, tar, mineral and sandalwood. Palate is medium rich with mature, dried fruit. Earth notes provide a great accent. Lively acidity provides energy and lift. Fine grained tannin still providing grip on the back palate. Great presence from start to medium long finish. This is in a really nice place. 12 22 2011
