Based on a mythical creature that has a lion's body with the head of a human, it is a statue made out of of limestone, posed in a reclining position. Boasting of its attributes, it is the "largest monolith statude in the world, and the oldest known monumental sculpture and is believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians during the reign of the pharaoh Khafra."
